As COO, I work to ensure that the NUS operations run smoothly. The tasks include managing the website, the official email account of the NUS and the Facebook group to ensure that undergraduate nursing students are updated about all things NUS. A little bit about me: I am a foodie and I love going out and exploring all types of cuisine. I have a slight addiction to coffee and boba. You can probably find me on campus with one of those drinks. On my spare time, I love spending time with friends and playing badminton.
Helloooo Nursing Students,
I am Sa Pham and I’m a BScN U3 student. I am this year NUS VP Internal 2021-2022. I work in liaison with the coordinators of McGill’s social events, such as Frosh, Science Games, Faculty Olympics to make sure that Nursing is always represented in these suppppper fun and exciting events. Furthermore, I work closely with NUS council members to give nursing students information on upcoming events, important dates, volunteering and jobs opportunities, committees and clubs through NUS newsletters. Recently, I worked with C U Advertising and Types & Graphics to bring nursing students yearly handbooks. I’m sooo happy that all the agendas were given out within the first few weeks of school.
Some fun facts about me: I moved to Montreal all by myself when I was 15 years old. I cannot drink beer but I still do anyways. I cannot touch my toes (yess no flexibility for me). Lastly, I absolutely love being a part of NUS council and I can’t wait to bring more amazing new events to nursing students this year.

Hello fellow nursing students, my name is Samantha Wiesenfeld and I am thrilled to be VP finance for the 2021-2022 academic school year! I am a U3 BScN student from Ottawa, Ontario. In my spare time you will find me on the hunt for the perfect cup of coffee, hiding in MacLennan or hanging out with friends. Dealing with all things numbers and money; in my role I will oversee budgets and allocate funds to other council members. My name is Rose-Marie Roy; I am a U3 BScN student in the position of VP Sustainability. My role is to act as a liaison between McGill Nurses for Planetary Health committee (MNPH) and the Nursing Undergraduate Society (NUS). I work towards making the ISON more sustainable! To do so, my colleagues and I aim at reducing waste and single-plastic use in the labs. Moreover, we organize educational events for our community to learn how to make a difference in their everyday life and working environment as a nurse. Our goal is to familiarize the Ingram School of Nursing (ISON) with the concept of Planetary Health, which recognizes the intersectional relationship between the health of a person, its environmental quality, and the social condition he lives in. We want our nurses to feel empowered to initiate and engage in sustainable actions.

Official Delegate CNSA Hi everyone! My name is Shai Edery and I am super excited to be the Official Delegate for the CNSA for the 2021-2022 academic year! As the OD I represent all of the nursing students at McGill and am the liaison for communicating information about conferences, opportunities and events on a regional and national level. I work closely with the Quebec Regional Director, the Associate Delegate and all of the NUS. I am in my U3 year of the BScN program and am extremely passionate about critical care. My name is Keijah Moore-Jeanmardy, I am a U3 BScN student, and this year’s equity commissioner.
As equity commissioner, I will be working with the students and the Equity committee to ensure that every individual is treated fairly and is able to access the same resources that will enable their success in their respective programs. Associate Delegate CNSA
Hello everyone! My name is Wayne Huang and I am honored to be the Associate Delegate for the CNSA for the 2021-2022 academic year! In case you were wondering, the CNSA, or the Canadian Nursing Students’ Association is one of the largest and oldest nursing organizations, and spans from the east to west coast. Our goal is to support and nurture the educational, legal, professional, and ethical pillars of nursing. I will be working closely with the Official Delegate of CNSA to do this.
A little about me, I am going into my U2 of the BScN program at Mcgill. I am from Calgary Alberta, and I love to cook, hike, and go on long road trips with tons of car karaoke! Hello nurses and future nurses! My name is Brittany and I am a U3 BScN student. In my spare time, I love nature, outdoor activities, spending time with friends, and relaxing with creative projects. I am excited to be a member of the Nursing Undergraduate Society, acting as the appointed Black Student Representative for this academic year! I will be working alongside the Equity Commissioner and Representative on the NUS council, as well as on the Equity committee. My role on these committees is to promote and create awareness around equity, diversity, and inclusion to the students of ISoN. The Equity committee will be organizing various initiatives that will be geared towards building a respectful and diverse community that ensures welcoming spaces and opportunities to flourish for all ; so, keep an eye out! We are committed to addressing issues of equity and structural health inequity from a nursing perspective. A goal of mine for this academic year is to collaborate with the Black Caucus at McGill and to continue to advocate for the right to accessible healthcare! Overall, I'm here to help my cohort out with anything they need.
