The Executive Council is a body within the NUS Council which governs the NUS in a manner consistent with the policies set out by the NUS General Council
President

Alex Bilodeau

Role: Support our NUS council members, make sure everything runs smoothly and that everyone has fun along the way.
Fun fact: My favourite animals are raccoons. The sillier the animals, the better.

Sabrina Wang

Role: Ensure clear & proper communication is done between each NUS members and to act as a secretary for the NUS.
Fun fact: I’m a big foodie at heart, so I enjoy roaming around the city and exploring new restaurants + hugeee kitty lover
Director of Fiancial Affairs

Andrea Lian

Role: Overseeing the management of your student fees and the NUS budget so we can organize as many activities.
Fun fact: I transferred from MAC campus to ISON.
Director of External Affairs

Alyson Vogel Mardinger

Role: To be the liaison between ISoN and external McGill communities,
different Montreal organizations, and upcoming ISoN's relationship
with external parties!

Director of Internal Affairs

Sophie Bujold
U3 BScN
Role: As Director of Internal Affairs, I coordinate and support the Social, Graduation, and Athletic & Health committees. I also liaise with major faculty-wide events like Frosh, FAC-O, JIIQs and Science Games to ensure nursing is well-represented. Lastly, I am responsible for creating the official NUS agendas at the start of the school year.
Fun fact: I love fishing, but I absolutely hate the taste of fish!
Director of Academics

Jane Soh

Role: Overseeing all academic affairs in each cohort of ISoN, coordinating meetings and info sessions with faculty and students and ensuring regular communication with the Board and Council
Fun fact: One of my new year's resolutions for 2025 is to not eat instant ramen for the year and it has been 9 months since I last ate one.
Director of Sustainability

Justine Li

Role: Lead the McGill Nurses for Global and Planetary Health Committee and ensure sustainable practices at the ISoN.
Fun fact: I love camping and long hikes!
Equity Commissioner

Melanie Xie

Role: Promote equity by advocating for diverse voices in our faculty, addressing concerns around discrimination or accessibility, and creating and supporting initiatives that create a fair and inclusive environment for nursing students.

General Council
The General Council includes the Executive Council as well as Elected Representatives, Coordinators & Officers.
Opportunities Coordinator

Lili-Rose Poitras

Role: As Opportunities Coordinator, I promote academic, professional, and extracurricular nursing opportunities, organize career fairs and networking events, and connect students with resources and organizations to support their career development.
Fun fact: I can never say no to a matcha latte, it's the perfect mid-day fuel !
Sponsorship Coordinator

Role: As Sponsorship Coordinator, I help support our nursing community by finding sponsors and funding, managing merchandise, and building connections, while helping the council become financially independent and run as a non-profit. If you ever see me around or have ideas for merchandise that could bring our community together, don't hesitate to say hi.

Café Coordinator

Alison Chow

Role: As we work toward opening a cafe in the Nursing building, my role has been to oversee the project, from finding suppliers and creating the menu to running the cafe's Instagram for updates.
Fun fact: My favourite movie(s) is Cars and Cars 2 and I could probably recite them by heart.
CBNA Representative

Role: Through the role of CBNA representative, I work to ensure that Black students’ voices are not only heard, but actively centered in conversations that shape our academic and clinical experiences. I am committed to advocating for culturally safe nursing education, inclusive programming, and meaningful support for our community.

Indigenous Awarness Representative

Franny Hansen

Role: Chairs the Indigenous Awareness Committee, organizes events on Indigenous health in nursing, and sits on the equity committee. Main roles are building community partnerships and raising awareness of Indigenous health to nursing students through education and outreach.
Fun fact: I practice yoga once a week

Allison O'Reilly

Role: Representing the BNI online cohort as a liaison between the students, the professors, and the NUS council. Ensuring the needs of the students just starting their nursing program at McGill are met and that their concerns are heard, especially as they navigate their studies remotely, while also promoting the activities and initiatives untaken by the NUS council.
Fun fact: In my spare time I play bass in two local bands, and I love playing Magic the Gathering.
