Hello, fellow nursing students!
My name is Noémie, and I am a BScN U3 student. I am thrilled to be the President of the NUS for the year 2023-2024! This is my third year in the council, and I hope to make this the best one yet!
My role consists of coordinating relations between the NUS, the NGSA and the ISoN, as well as enforcing the governing documents of our society. With the help of the rest of the council, we will work hard to make your voice heard within ISoN, SSMU and Quebec.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for questions, feedback, concerns, projects, or even to chat!
Cheers to you all!
RACHAEL T. ODUSUSI
Chief Operating Officer
Hello, Hello, everyone!
My name is Rachael, and I am a BScN U3 student. I will be the COO for the year 2023-2024!
My role consists of taking care of the logistics of the council. My tasks include running the official email account and NUS website, room booking and council meetings and occasionally working with ISoN faculty. Essentially, my role aims to make the council run as efficiently as possible. Additionally, I redirect students to the proper resources when they are unsure of the person whom to contact.
If you have any questions or comments, you can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org!

I’m Claire Mabia and I’m in U2 BScN.
This is my first year on the council, and I am looking forward to the year. As the Vice President External Affairs of the NUS, one of my main role is connecting the NUS community with the larger McGill University landscape. VP Global Health
Hello nurses and murses!
My name is Rose; I am a BNI U3 student and your VP Global Health for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. I am very excited to share my passion for health outreach, sustainability and equity with fellow students who strive to make an impact within our community and beyond.
Currently, I am running the McGill Nurses for Global Health (MNGH) committee, which encourages students to get involved in the community by organizing and taking part in global health and sustainability-oriented projects.
Ultimately, my goal this academic year is to spark (self-)reflection by raising awareness and involving students in community-driven projects. I am hopeful that these reflections will blossom into a desire to break down the barriers preventing accessible healthcare for populations whose voices cannot be heard.
I look forward to meeting you all!! Message me if you have any questions or project ideas and/or want to get involved.
My name is Shaun, and I am your VP Sustainability for 2023-2024. I am a U3 BNI Student.
My role as VP sustainability is to advocate and raise awareness for environmental issues. I feel that the healthcare system is extremely wasteful and that as nurses, it is our duty to care for patients but also to care for the planet. (It’s a cheesy line, but it’s the truth !)
My role is also to manage the McGill Nurses for Planetary Health Committee (MNPH). We organize projects and events to make a positive impact on the environment within ISON.
Don’t hesitate to contact me with any ideas or to join the MNPH committee!
Also! Be sure to follow the MNPH committee on Instagram for environmental awareness @mnplanetary_health !
See you on campus!
I'm Sophie, the new Equity Commissioner.
My job is to ensure all students are treated equitably by their professors, clinical instructors, and classmates. I'm incredibly passionate about equity as a member of several minority groups.
In my free time, I love hiking, reading, and playing with my cat!

Allo! I'm Nay and I'm a U3 BScN student.
